Over 20 years ago, Donn Kerr received the distinct honor of being licensed as the first Esthetics instructor in South Carolina and opened the first school of esthetics in the Carolinas in Greenville, South Carolina. A year later, he changed the name of the business to “Esthetics International” and moved the school to its current location in Columbia. In addition to owning and managing the school, Donn also runs a successful salon, Donn’s Salon and Day Spa, located in the Five Points area of Columbia. Donn has received training around the world to hone his skills, including advanced courses in the Wave Method of Therapeutic massage, Nelly de Vuyst Advance Esthetics Techniques, the Ingram Method of Reflexology, Malu Wilz Camouflage and Makeup Techniques and Sothy’s Advanced Training. Donn’s distinctive reputation as a skin care expert is well-known throughout the esthetics industry. He serves as a class educator for multiple trade show events, including the Southern Spa and Salon Conference. As a industry leader, Donn has reviewed and offered commentary for several renowned textbooks. In addition, he is a sought-after instructor for continuing education classes throughout the Southeast.
